The Bowdoin Outing Club encourages students to dream, organize and lead outdoor trips. This fellowship offers the financial support to shape the most creative and adventurous outdoor visions into real opportunities. The expedition should foster a spirit of adventure and encourage personal challenges and skill development and in the end, contribute to the growth of the Bowdoin Outing Club.

Spring Plans for Biking

Hello readers of the BTP Blog!

What unseasonably great weather we have. It has been especially delightful for biking these past few days, and we are all itching to start our spring training after break. We plan to gradually increase our mileage week by week, starting around 30 miles and increasing to 80 miles. On top of our group training, we will be leading Thursday rides, a couple of weekend bike trips, and an overnight bike trip with the BOC. Also, as part of the community service aspect of our trip, some of the members of our group will be leading rides for the Mt. Ararat Middle School bike club. This club should start up after break, so we have a lot of great biking to look forward to.

We will keep you updated on our trip preparations and any great bike routes we discover.

Happy biking.
